These portals are so immersive that I forgot I was actually building a bedroom in the Nether... it’s very good I didn’t test the bed! OH, and I left the promxix part in because it made me laugh. I guess my editing mistake is not making it clear that I intentionally left it in? ha!

You know, looking at this, if you somehow get your friend to download the mod without them knowing what it does you could prank them pretty good. Just make a regular house, have normal sized rooms and such, but make a portal to the bedroom. Just make sure they can't hear or see anything netherlike and wait till night >:)

Wait until he learns how to use the Portal Helper so he can create both ends of the portal in the overworld! (Theres also a delete command that is extremely simple but extremely helpful as it only deletes one side of the portal)

hey if you search "portal helper" in the search menu thing, youll find a portal helper. build 2 of those in the orver world, ignite one a flint and steel, then you two portals in the over world.

Two things, first, for modders, the april fools mod that generates a dimension based on a book tossed into the portal, that mechanic could be used to determine where and in which direction a portal connects. Second, I'd love to see the Mad Mage dungeon created by Alexandrian remade in minecraft using this mod.

iirc, the mod has commands to create portals linking two locations in the same dimension so you could have put the bedroom elsewhere in the overworld

It is even harder for my little brain who does not know how to link portals

So I tried to recreate this and im almost there but its not quite working, Im very new to redstone so basically just trying to recreate it from the moments where the working redstone is shown in the video. The issue im havign is that for some reason when the water is dispensed, two of them function properly where as the middle one is dispensed but not retracted and so stays there untill you flick the level enough times to reset. Does anyone have any suggestions or can point me in the right direction to understand how the redstone functions so i can fix it myself?

mumbo you dont need to use the nether, you can use the portal helper block to make portals in the same dimension also if you install the pehkui mod then you can change your scale

Mumbo there's a block in the misc tab that let's you build portal in the overworked that connect with each other and you can destroy the portal frame after and replace it with any block
